Husband Reduces His Spousal Support Obligation to Zero

Our Orange County divorce attorneys represented a Husband in an Orange County divorce case involving a long-term marriage and Husband’s exposure to having to pay lifetime spousal support to Wife.

Case Results

Our attorneys represented Husband in an Orange County divorce case.  Wife’s attorney billed her $50,000.00 in attorney’s fees and costs trying to prove our client was hiding income and failed at the support hearing before trial to do so.  Wife then appeared at trial self represented and on cross-examination testified she knew Husband had no ability to pay her spousal support.  We succeeded in getting an equal timeshare arrangement for Husband with respect to their two minor children and a zero/reserved order on spousal support despite the fact this was a 20+ year marriage during which Husband earned $50,000 per year on average and Wife historically worked only part-time earning $12 per hour for her church.

They talked me through everything. It was a very comfortable process thanks to them. It was a great feeling knowing they had mine and my children’s best interests at heart. They gave me their time wholeheartedly which mattered to me the most. This office proved to me that professionalism and a caring attitude can and do go hand in hand. My lawyer had a calming, yet powerful way about her that made me feel comfortable when I was so lost in the unknown world of divorce. I’d definitely recommend this law office to anyone seeking goodhearted individuals who get the job done on time!
